Rapid Identity for Students |
District 73.5 uses Rapid Identity (Rapid ID) to manage student logins and provide a single sign-on portal where they can access all of their school applications.
As students move up through grade levels, they will progressively use more secure methods for login. Once the student successfully logs in, they will be taken to the single sign-on portal where all their relevant applications are listed. Students can login directly with some of these applications (like Google) and they will be redirected to the Rapid ID platform for login.
Login Methods by Grade
Pre-K to 2nd Grade Students
These students use secure QR codes to access the Rapid ID platform similar to the one pictured below.
3rd - 8th Grade Students
Theses students will use a traditional username and password which follows a standard convention that is shared with the student in class when they receive their device in class.
Troubleshooting?
If your student has issues accessing their Rapid ID account, either the teacher or parent may submit a ticket to our Technology Department here and a member of the tech department will assist.
